RFHIC’s RIU256K0-40TG is a 6kW, gallium-nitride (GaN) solid-state microwave generator operable from 2400 to 2500 MHz. The RIU256K0-40TG is a stand-alone type microwave generator equipped with four 1.6kW solid-state power amplifiers (SSPA), a 400 VAC power supply unit (PSU), and a main control unit (MCU). The RIU256K0-40TG is built with a phase-lock-loop (PLL) synthesizer providing the generator with a precise and controllable signal. The RIU256K0-40TG is embedded with RFHIC’s precise control suite software allowing users to control and monitor the system’s power levels and RF mode (CW/pulse). To protect the system from reflected power, the RIU256K0-40TG is built with high-grade isolators (circulators, terms) preventing system failure. In case a higher reflected power is monitored, the system will automatically shutdown.
