Anyang, South Korea, February 20, 2019 – RFHIC Corporation (KOSDAQ:218410), a global leader in designing and manufacturing GaN RF & Microwave solutions, today released its latest 5kW, C-band GaN solid-state transmitter, RRT56575K0 designed for radar, medical equipment, and testing applications. The transmitter is built with a total of four GaN solid-state power amplifiers in a standard 19” by 8U rack mount shelf. The RRT56575K0 operates at 5.6-5.7 GHz and provides a 10% duty cycle. Each transmitter is equipped with its own power supply unit and uses a forced air-cooling system.

The RRT56575K0 is built using RFHIC’s cutting edge GaN on SiC transistors which enables the transmitter to accurately measure the reflection and absorption of the energy direction at high efficiency.
