Wireless Infrastructure
RFHIC participated in World Hydrogen Expo 2025 (WHE 2025), held at KINTEX from December 4–7, and showcased its GaN solid-state microwave (MW) generator.
RFHIC develops and manufactures high-power RF and microwave solutions based on GaN technology. The company supports a wide range of applications, including clean hydrogen production, plasma processes, semiconductor equipment, and industrial heating systems.
At the show, RFHIC introduced its microwave generator designed to improve efficiency and stability in hydrogen production processes through precise power control and reliable operation.

RFHIC said the solution delivers MW energy directly to the catalyst for rapid heating and uses precise power control to help maintain stable catalyst temperature for consistent hydrogen production.
Compared to conventional approaches that mainly use indirect, conduction-based heating, RFHIC’s MW generator heats the catalyst directly, which can reduce heat loss. This can help improve energy efficiency and support efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

During the exhibition, RFHIC met with attendees from the hydrogen industry and discussed potential use cases and collaboration opportunities around its MW-based direct catalyst heating approach.
