RFHIC has received the Top Excellence Award in the category of High-Efficiency Communication Semiconductor Innovation at Samsung Electronics’ 2026 Partnership Day, demonstrating its strong technological leadership in GaN solid-state RF solutions.
The award recognizes RFHIC’s development of drive and main packages for RU (Radio Unit) power amplifiers, delivering both high performance and cost competitiveness.
By implementing an integrated GaN package design, RFHIC reduced the overall footprint and improved cost efficiency. Consolidating multiple packages into a single unit enhanced system integration while strengthening competitiveness in logistics, maintenance, and total cost of ownership.
RU power amplifiers are essential components in 5G communication infrastructure, requiring high output power, efficiency, and reliability. RFHIC’s GaN solid-state RF technology meets these demands and contributes to improved system performance and energy efficiency.
The award was presented at Samsung Electronics’ DX (Device eXperience) Partnership Day held on March 27 at DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo. The annual event, held since 2012, promotes collaboration and mutual growth with partner companies.
